The Australian-made JDEN Spider Exercise and Therapy Cage is a free-standing, three-sided frame designed for configurable movement practice, strengthening and supported functional activities. The cage measures 2000 W × 2000 D × 2100 H mm and features a powder-coated solid square steel frame, 100 × 100 mm mesh grid and modular panel construction. Custom sizes, colours, accessories, professional installation, clinician training and an optional tracking walking rail are available.

Every client brings different abilities, goals, interests and support needs to therapy. The Spider Cage gives the treating clinician a flexible environment in which the activity, not the equipment, leads the session.
Depending on the clinician’s assessment and the accessories selected, the system can be configured to provide graded assistance, resistance, positioning support or suspension. This can create opportunities to practise functional movements in sitting, quadruped, kneeling and standing, as well as transitions, stepping, balance activities and targeted strengthening.
Fully compatible with all suit therapy protocols with the recognised leader PediaSuit and TheraSuit Protocols.
Support can be adjusted as the activity changes or as the child develops greater control. That makes the cage useful across ongoing programs, goal-focused blocks and intensive therapy models, while allowing therapists to keep activities purposeful, playful and relevant to everyday participation.

Designed around clinical choice
The JDEN Spider Cage is not tied to one exercise or one style of therapy. Its grid structure provides multiple attachment locations so clinicians can build individualised setups using compatible accessories selected for the participant and intended activity.
Possible clinician-led applications include:
- graded body-weight support for functional movement practice;
- sitting, kneeling, quadruped and standing activities;
- transitions between developmental and functional positions;
- stepping or gait-related practice, including use of the optional tracking walking rail where clinically appropriate;
- balance, weight-shift and postural-control activities;
- progressive strengthening using suitable bungees, pulleys, ropes or weights;
- task-specific repetition within an individualised therapy plan;
- integration with compatible suit-therapy approaches and selected in-cage equipment.
The system is a therapy tool, not a treatment protocol. Activities, accessories, loading, support and progression must be determined by an appropriately qualified professional.
