IMPORTANT: Purpose-built bungee elastics for clinical cage therapy and suspension therapy. When supporting or suspending a person, choose equipment carefully. Purpose-built therapy bungees feature substantial, high-quality commercial 10 mm elastic cord and a permanently secured carabiner at each end, with crimped connections and heat-shrink finishing. These construction features distinguish them from general-purpose cheap luggage straps and open-hook hardware bungees. Do not substitute open-hook cords or bungees without securely fixed carabiners at both ends. A released or failed elastic cord can recoil forcefully, potentially striking a child, therapist or nearby person and causing serious injury. Use only equipment approved by its manufacturer for the intended therapy application, within its specified load and stretch limits and under trained clinical supervision. Inspect cords, end connections, and carabiners before every session; remove worn, damaged, or loose components from service; check that carabiner gates close securely; and release tension gradually while keeping faces and bodies clear of the recoil path.
